Sometimes in life we are faced with objects that are bigger than we are and it seems more than we can bear; But the bible tells us that the Lord will never put on us more than we can bear. When that moment happens alone we may have a problem with facing, growing, and learning from the struggle without the help of others.
Our homeless are people who need the help and blessings that we often take for granted. When we turn on our faucet we let the water run because we expect it to always be there; when we come inside our homes we can make it cool or warm with a flip of a switch, yet there are other because of whatever their circumstance we don’t think we are responsible. We are because when the Lord blessed us; He has charged us to be a blessing to others; others are not always the people we know and love; they are the ones we don’t know.
When you can take the time to share the Blessings of the Lord with those who are less fortunate is when we have learned and understood what God has shown us in being a blessing instead of being selfish because we believe we’ve earned what we have and chose to keep it and anyone without is just out of luck.
Now I ask would you want someone to give it to you (a second chance)? Could you survive on the streets if life happened to you the way it happened to others? H.O.P.E.S Homeless Bound My Home is Near is determined to make a difference in someone else’s life and providing the same opportunity to someone as we have. We can do it so much better if we work together.

Please stop and take a look. Why do we walk past someone who could easily be someone we know, a father, friend, aunt, uncle, brother, sister, cousin, mom, or even be ourselves? Life happens and it can happen to you. Who would help you? Who will we help? Please consider making a donation to help our homeless population. If you cannot make a donation, please share H.O.P.E.S.’ mission with someone else.
